Out of all the short shifter's i've own for our cars, the Pacesetter was by FAR the best one!

Nope, Pacesetter is also discontinued, which is why they are now worth a premium.

In terms of quality, the Pacesetter was top notch, with the B&M just below it (so long as you used a shift knob other than the B&M).

No, it's no longer available. Last year I found it on their web site but the product itself has long been discontinued.
Yes, it looks hokie. The looks are deceiving. I didn't buy my shifter to look at it. I bought it to perform. =]

Honestly, have you considered just moving the ball on your stock shifter? That is probably our best option these days unless you want to go with the G-spec shifter. I would bet it is not the same old eBay crap. It should fit well and work like the B&M. If not, I think Greg would refund you fully and pull the product from his site.
