car wont start!!
ok guys i need ur help. i just put my new de in a week ago and it was running beautifuly but last friday i was at a gas station and it wouldnt start, and i had someone to push me and it started but i checked the alt,battery, and starter and they are good what can it be??

the grounds are good i have checked! i have had problems out of my ignition switch b4 the swap i would have to giggle the key to get it to start but it wasnt all the time could that be it?? i just dont want to spend $130 and not be the problem. i about had it with this car i love my b13 but with a family and work and school its hard to keep going with it u know?

That could certainly be it. It could also be the clutch switch which doesn't allow the car to start unless the clutch is pushed down all the way.

The pedal physically pushes it down, so check behind the pedal in the footwell, you'll see it. Put it in neutral, push it down with your hand to ensure it is down all the way, and have a significant other try to start the car. I think people have removed the switch completely, just attaching the two wires directly together, but you will want to search around here to make sure people have done that. Of course that means you'll always have to be mindful to push the clutch down/have the car in neutral each time you go to start it. To test it, you might be able to just run a paperclip between the two switch posts, but I can't recall what it looks like.

^ you can do that or you can source another switch if its the switch from a local junk yard they wouldnt be much
