Fidanza Flywheel
Hi i have some questions to you,
I live in Germany and drive a Nissan Almera Top Sport with an Sr20DE

so i find someone here who sells me his use Fidanza Flywheel
1.: would you buy an used Fidanzna Flywheel? he said he didn't drive the clutch with an sintermetal clutch, only with an 4 puck clutch

2: is recommandable to use a lighter flywheel?
I mean i know all the advantages of an lighter flywheel, also the disadavantages, which dont seems to be much
3. does a lighter flywheel have any technical disadvantages, i mean, does the tranny brake sooner?

i am asking because there are no tuning parts in germany, or not much except headers that i can purchase.

would be nice if you can help me and sry for my mistakes

I bought a used flywheel, but I got it from someone I trust. I think they can be resurfaced and/or have pieces replaced to make them like new, as long as the teeth are in good condition. Speaking of teeth, some Fidanza's have more teeth than others, so you should research on here for what you need. Otherwise you might throw a check engine code.

I love might light flywheel, it really changed the way the engine feels. I have yet to see a downside with mine. Some people say that the car might be a bit more difficult to drive smoothly because the revs drop off too quickly, but I have never noticed a problem.

hmmm, ok i should write more carefully

I thought when i buy a used Fidanzna Flywheel, it is recommend to change the friction plate! I am not sure about this and wanted to ask
I will use an OEM Clutch.

My plan was using the Flywheel for daily use.

So, should I buy a used Fidanza and put it in my car without changing the used Friction plate ?

no... buy a used flywheel if you want, if you do it would be recommended that you replace the friction plate if it has signs of abuse and or hot spots that are noticeable.

personally i would stay away from ''ebay'' style clutches or flywheels in general, i have heard some stories about them from the honda community that scare me. its up to you though. i personally would go with a fidanza, or jgy something along those lines that are legit
