Rotorwork
I was searching around for rotors and had no luck. A guy from autozone was telling about a website that he buys rotors for his spec v. He told me they sell better quality rotors for less. At autozone, pep boys ect. they go around 62.99 each and on the website they are 38.94 each. Now my question is the Nx2000 front rotors they have different types of rotors. Does it matter if I buy slotted, drilled, ect?

here is the website

People get a lot of their rotors from Rockauto, and some swear by the $20 chinese blanks there.

If you are racing your car on street courses, slotted or drilled may help cool your brakes, but our cars are light enough that most NA people get away with normal rotors and good pads. If you're just on the driving on normal roads, the slotted/drilled rotors will only cost more and eat up your pads quicker (and may crack easier) for the sake of possibly looking better, if you think they look better.

Get the plain rotors. They hold up to the heat better and can be resurfaced.

you can cut slotted cross drilled rotors also.

I've had very good luck with China Rotors on my b14, but bad luck on my b15.

I've run expensive slotted rotors on the track, but decided that they don't really make a difference in braking. So I now use the cheapest NX2000 plain rotors that I can find.
