Thread: no spark or fuel????

ok so this motor swap i got myself into trying to help someone out is turning into a nightmare. now that we have gotten the starter to grab the flywheel and the tranny issues worked out it comes to be that my car is not making any spark or fuel. We changed out the dizzy and coil. I do not understand what could be wrong. I need some help / guidence

definitely sounds dizzy-related, whether it's the actual distributor or the wiring to the ECU. You're definitely on the right path, just keep following it around. Make sure you didn't forget grounds or a simple plug somewhere along the line. Does the fuel pump prime when you turn on the key?

I'm guessing B13? Is this a stock motor/harness? more details would make it easier you know? =)

its a nx2000 obd1. The motor is a UK obd2 automatic motor converted over to OBD1. the motor ran great when we pulled it from the other car and now im just having no luck with the swap im guessing something eletrical. i remember the fuel pump primping with the key on but i should double check.

Def want to check if fuel pump is priming because that will eliminate a bunch of things. Was any splicing done to the harness?

yes the knock sensor / injector harness is hard wired into the main harness.

hmmmkay so does it prime? check all your fuses. there are a couple that will stop fuel/spark from getting to the motor. And of coarse, dizzy would be my number 1 guess but if you're sure everything's good with that....
