PCV Valve...
This is the second time in 3 months that it has gone bad... by bad I mean that my crankcase is seeing boost because my dipstick keeps popping with the slightest boost and my idle is shit right now. So my question is can I block off intake side and maybe put a small filter or something on the PCV valve?

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks,
Truett

you have the pcv connected to the boost side of the intak? connect it to the pre turbo intak and ir will suck the air out instead of force air in that shuld salve you problem

Do you know for sure it's bad? I'm betting it's just fine, and you are having these problems because of the other side of the crank case ventilation system.

take it out and blow through it. It is a one-way valve and only allows flow one direction.

^ you can also shake it and see if it rattles, if it rattles its fine, if it doesnt, just spray some cleaner in it and it should be fine. they dont normally ''break'' but more so clogg this can be helped with some wd40 or some type of cleaner.

Checked it and turns out it's fine. Guess this is what I get for assuming.

Looks like I'll have to check out the other side and probably do a catch can...
