starting issues please help! my daily is down
Hey guys, I have a nissan with a highport sr18de and a few weeks ago she had gave up on me.
it is a 1997 and first what happen was I made the fuel go really low, went to the gas station and filled up. At lunch time went out and 5 mins into the drive when I would give the car more than 30% throttle it would want to cut out. When I had to stop, she shutout on me. Tried to start it and it would start but would turn off it 2 seconds. Things I did to try and fix the problem: changed fuel pump, change fuel filter, change fpr, change spark plugs, clean distributor cap, change spark cables, checked all fuses and relays, after all of that she now stays on for a second or 2 longer. What I have to do to get her to stay on is to crimp the return line, but then she idles like crap and a lot of smoke. But even then once she warms up and I start reving it will cut out.
So with all of that, does any one have any other Ideas?
