Major swap issues need help asap
So this weekend we took my motor and put it in my friends car and am trying to put my UK motor in my car. The pilot bushing is smaller on the UK block then the other SR20 motors. ive been trying to pull it out with a puller and cant get it out. The input shaft is too large to fit into this hole. i need help asap to get my car up for work and school during the week. Thanks. also the FPR on the other motor isnt letting any fuel through and it wont start. help please

Are you trying to use a motor from an automatic car with a manual gearbox? If so I think you might have to remove the steel "locater" that sits in front of the pilot bush. What gearbox are you using? if it's a 32 series box it won't matter and you can leave the locater in but i'm not sure about other gearboxes.

The FPR is the return, switch your lines. You have to have the correct axles for the correct trans. LSD vrs Non-LSD are different.

how can i tell what series my tranny is? im trying to use it with a p11 LSD tranny that has been converted to cable speedo and what not to go in my NX2k

yah we have the right axles for the trans ..... switch the FPR lines?

yes the fuel lines should be out of the filter to the side of the rail with no regualtor and then from the regulator to the return line

post up a pic of the tranny. Because there were a few series of gearboxes used in the p11s IIRC.

trannys in the the car and all good just got a few little things to finish up in the morning and the NX will be up n running but with no ps or ac ..... the G's thermostat is not opening and we even put a different one on it but its still the same problem. no clue what that could be
