Got a little electrical problem
Ok so i have never had a problem with my b13 before i was on my way home from work when i had to hit the brakes and the radio went off as soon as i released the brake pedal the radio came back on . So then i took the off ramp to the highway and when i came to a stop the car was idleing really low. As i was driving down the street i turned the lights on and the car cut out . I stopped in my friends driveway and the car died tried to start it and the fuel pump comes on sounds weak though and when i go to start it i get nothing .

I am thinking it could be the alternator that died and i was running on the battery and now that is dead , any help would be greatly apreciated .

I second your initial diagnosis. Sounds like a dieing battery and likely cause is a dieing alternator.

Sounds like the alternator to me, as well. I had the same symptoms a few months ago and it was a bad alternator. Did the lights in your cluster come on?

It sounds exactly like the alternator went... Check the belt, if it's not there, check the wire, if it's fine it's the alternator. The car won't function properly running off just the battery so just hope you didn't mess the battery up also... Oh yeah, the alt is a bitch to change... LOL

alternators are only slightly tricky when your car has a/c otherwise its pretty simple.. check your connections before spending any money!
