Which of these brake options will have more stopping power?
Option A
-Stock B15 calipers and rotors with EBC Green Stuff brake pads

or

Option B
-300zx Calipers with stock B15 rotors and ceramic 300zx pads.

Basically I already have the EBC pads and feel like I need more stopping power on my boosted car but I am reconsidering installing the pads. I am thinking the 2 piston caliper is going to have more stopping power even though it's regular ceramic pads because it can apply more force to the pads. I've never had the EBC pads on my car but I have heard they are good. The 300zx came turbo and was a 2 ton monster so I'm figuring it those calipers could stop that car they should have no issues stopping my 3000 lb Sentra.

What are your thoughts on this one?

If they are a direct bolt on, which I don't know for a B15, they may stop better being a larger caliper and all, but they also weigh more. Without a larger rotor and good pads I don't see the point. Not sure if it has been done before. Why not the whole upgrade if you are going that far? There are better options also. I would go with a Hawk pad and braided lines but I would also like to know what the car is being used for. Aren't p11 rotors and calipers option for you? I would also sell the ebc pads as I am not a huge fan and start from scratch with a plan and a budget and get back to us.

You didn't provide enough information. "Stopping Power" doesn't mean much to me. If either setup locks the tires up, then it doesn't matter - at that point the tires are more important. Is this a street car, drag car, HPDE car?

The ability to withstand heat is the key for heavy use. For a street car, I would look at a decent pad and start there (Bobcats or something like that - if they are still made).

Fullah what sentra you got?
I got full B15 front brakes on my B13 with danblock brake pads and Im liking it a lot...

A friend of mine has the 300zx front brakes in his B13 and it brakes better than mine (not by that much tho), but there is the slight problem that street tires really dont cut the braking power so hes gotta be carefull, he brakes too hard and he just locks the tires...

my b15 was a beast in terms of stopping power with brembo blanks and metal master pads. i i think its the pad medium, as the green stuff pads are more for lightweight hatches. is switch your pads first.
