Also you probably won't be able to use the OEM washer on the middle stud either because it won't fit with the large runner. Before anyone says "see you get what you pay for" this washer problem also existed on one of the hotshot headers too which was a helluva lot more then the $75 I paid for my header.

i have 2 ssac 2" headers, bought one early 04 and one in 05 and neither had any problems with installation. i dont understand these problems people are having? now people might say this is because i have the 2" model, but the only thing that changed on the 2.5" model is the downpipe.

im lookin into getting a 2.5" one here soon, so im curious about these problems.

For that middle stud washer issue, you can just grind the edge off the washer until it clears the weld. No biggie if you have a grinder. But it's a good reminder to be on the lookout for this situation.

I didn't bother grinding it. Just put the nut on. No problems yet! I probably could have gotten the header on without drilling the holes. If the waterneck and the fans weren't there but because they were I had to go at it at an angle and I need the extra 1/16" of an inch on either side. So for people saying they didn't have a problem it may just be chasis specific. Things seem really tight in the p10.

I just left that bold off :o

I tightened the other bolds pretty well, new gasket, so far no leaks

75 shipped FTW! It has the larger secondary! I guess I got lucky.

Can you take a pic of the end of the secondary, then end where it connects to the cat?

I got one from ilovetacotaco....it took a month and at leat 10 emails, trying to get a refund etc.
The guy had it listed but did not have in stock,so never shipped or contacted me.Ignored my emails.
I finally got it a month later, and it is great!it does have the 2.5 collector, and it was in the same box as my last ssac that cost twice that.
I wont buy from that guy again at any price, but I got a nice header with my headache
