radiator dimensions gtir vs nx2000
Okay i bought an 'gtir' red from a guy on gtircanada to replace my wrecked nx2000 rad. I get it and it is 5/8 inch vs the 15/16inch on the nx. I've looked it up and 5/8 = 16mm and there is a gtir rad that is that thickness but it seems very strange this skinny rad could possibly be superior. I hope I did not get ripped off. Both have the same part number of the end caps (nx 2x larger endcaps too) APP 48 86457.

The GTIR is the same thickness as the NX, it just has a different fin count. Here is a full comparison between SER, NX, and GTIR radiators:

Below is a picture of my GTIR and SER radiators:

Does it look like this one?

If not, I know that my USDM 1995 Nissan 200SX SE-R radiator is the size you mentioned (5/8" thick) and it cools pretty poorly. I wish for a Mishimoto or Koyo unit soon.

no I think I got ripped off, hopefully the guy did not know. It looks exactly like the SE-R radiator.

I bought an all aluminum radiator a while back. It has a much higher fin count than my NX radiator. Same thickness. But it has GA16 1 1/16" inlet and outlet instead of the 1 3/8.

Still works like a charm.

Man, after looking at the pics posted by swiss, the SE-R rad is a piece of shit.

THe Gti-R had two different radiators. The skinny and the fat one. On Gti-ROC they know it as the Euro radiator. From the information I have read the Sunny had a larger radiator than the Pulsar. The Gti-R was only sold as a Sunny in Europe.

Here in the states when guys upgrade to the GTi-R radiator they are getting the fat one. The Gti-R radiator isn't very common over here. I think the guys who have purchased one have bought it new. I purchased mine from Greg V a few years back.

Part number for the radiator you want is 21410-63C00
