Curved vs straight fan blades
I'm about to buy Spal fans and wanted to know if there is a difference beteween the blades.
Straight

Straight blade is only 870 cfm... curved is 1200cfm.

I see that but other than the cfms, any difference?

What differences could there be that you'd be interested in? Noise level? Aesthetics?
One blows more air than the other (and draws less power doing so). End of story.

I hear curved blades are quieter, but other than that. I guess go for higher cfms.

If you're looking for a performance fan, you shouldn't be so worried about noise levels. chances are your exhaust is louder than a fan....

i have the curved blade ones on my car, and by the way i paid less than that for mine
