Thread: help! I'm stranded in paradise, update

i think those 175 ones from greg are aftermarket, but they're the right ones if i remember right.. dont quote me on that tho..

i have similar issues with first gear, try second then up to first.. works for me.. i think its a bad rear motor mount.. i've replaced the bushings an it still does it.. it could also possibly be the clutch cable needing adjusted but in my case i have no more adjustment in mine an its brand new

Yeah your right its a reman oem axle, I went back through my messages

All motor mounts are fine, the shifter bushings are visibly worn as it just jiggles around, you are probably right about the cable, I have the b15 clutch in there now and it grabs on the floor, sometimes if I can adjust my seat properly I can get the pedal all the way to the floor and it goes into gear smoothly but mostly that doesn't happen because of the floor mat, I think I need to cut some more off

Like I said before in this thread it is going to be the passenger side axle. This happened to my ex girls 200sx SER and has happened to a few customers cars.

here's a pretty much useless video of the out of roundness i was talking about earlier in the thread, it probably could have been from the lugs not all the way tight, but ill post it anyway

Ok, so I got back from pa and I've been driving the car around, the steering wheel shakes between 70-90mph ive changed the tires and rotated them around (and balanced twice) and I'm still getting vibration, I can feel. It more from the passenger side

I'm guessing the wheel bearing is in order on that side? and the axle is already on my list

I think I'm going to get some stock rims I'm tired of these low profile tires on this car

Unfortunately I have to fly back up to Pa this weekend for my grandmothers funeral, so there goes the money to fix the car, now I need a job- unemployment is just not cutting it

i think between both of us, we have the worst luck with our cars ever! lol
