Well I ended up just putting a new aftermarket axle from carquest in the drivers side for the mean time, it still shakes though (I think its the passenger tire, wheel bearing and possibly axle) but it doesn't pull anymore (well in the 800 miles I've drove this week)
.
I think I'm going to save some money and get new oem axles from greg v (he quoted me at $175 each I think)
.
It seems to shift a little smoother now with the mt-90, I believe I need some new shifter bushings because its hard to get it into first unless I mess with it a little
.
I pulled the old drivers axle out and messed with the inner joint and it has about 1/4" of play with the joint pushed all the way in but no play with it pulled out
.
I think another step to this saga is to get some se-r wheels because everytime I hit a bridge joint on i95 with these low profile tires I think I'm going to blow a tire, that should soften up the ride some
.
Also I believe the car still has the original shocks and springs, I think I might try to pick up some monroe sensa-trac from my old job up in PA while I'm up there, they have 205,000 miles on them so I'm sure they are shot
.
If anyone in south florida wants to ride in my car and tell me what else is wrong with it your welcome to
.
Well most of this will have to wait as I'm going up to PA. From sunday the 25th to monday the 2nd, and then I'm going to look for a job as unemployment is screwing me over
.
Also when I get back I'm ripping the 1.6L apart to see why it won't run
