Thread: widest tire mounted on a b13 ser wheel

what the largest tire that can be mounted on a b13 ser wheel and used on a b13. i have had my eye on the toyo r888's and the bfg's.

toyo r888's 225/60/14

bfg's 215/60/14 or 205/50/14

you wont get 225s on a 6.5 inch wheel

why not? wont the sides just bulge out a bit?

I would say 205's at most....

Pretty sure B13 wheel is smaller than B14 and B14 max is 225.

what about height wise? will a 60 fit?

Why would you want to run such a tall tire?

I have 50's on it right now and it doesn't look like it would like 60's....

A 205/55-14 on a B13 SE-R wheel barely clears the rear strut, and made a permanent enemy with the tire installer. Up front, the extra diameter on a bigger tire isn't going to do your acceleration any favors.

Harsh reality: performance tires aren't made in popular 14" sizes anymore.
