When you factor in your time, it's not $50. Not saying it's not worth doing, just saying $50 is misleading.

Awesome job! I agree with Hammering Hank, that's a lot of time

I've have this at the back of my mind for a long time for a different project (not the SE-R). Not sure if I want to pay a few grand for a good paint job. Not sure I want to spend a bazillion hours sanding either... =]

****in hate that song.... love that cheap paint job. ive seen soooo much worse with more coin spent on a "cheapo" paint job. Buddy spent $200 and painted his own car, turned out like garbage

old news...there were a few guys on the old forum that did this ,too.
No thanks.Theres a reason automotive paint is different from others.
FL sun would kill that paint in no time.
But hey, looks better than most rattlecan or primer/flat paint jobs.
I would never go through all the prep work to use that paint, sorry.

No one's pointed out that you still need the painting equipment, which is going to run a lot more than $50 if you don't already have an air compressor. I doubt it's possible to get it looking so nice out of a spray can.
