if you had a machine shop...
ok guys so here is the deal. my best friend recently got married to a girl from Thailand. her father owns a machine shop that has contracts with the suppliers of the us armd forces and they build parts for weapons, missiles, etc. my friend spends alot of time there waiting for his girl to get off work and has became really close with her father. they have a cnc machine, mill machine, laser cuter, water jet and about any type of machining machine you can think of. my buddy is a car guy and we got to thinking.
recently the shop has slowd down to less depend and alot of these machines are not getting used alot. soooooo. if you could have something machined what would it be? it has to be marketable to where we could present it to her father and try to work out some sort of deal. he is a business man and has been loosing alot of money lately. so if something is marketable im sure he would go for it..

I think there's a vendor on here who isn't gonna like this, but ... a cheaper power steering delete part for the b14's would be nice ( currently all we have is a $200 part.... ).

neptronix, you know you can just buy a belt right? you can eliminate it for under $15. You just roll it on, cars have roll on belts from the factory. Plus it's less rotating mass.

I think you should start with something simple and affordable. Like a keychain or something. I think it's already been done, but if it was something simple like SR20, you could sell it to a lot more people than just the forums. Maybe an oil filler cap?

Kinda like the VVL emblem but maybe a bit smaller or it can just say VVL but needs to look like the VVL on the engine.

A matching cap set would be cool (oil, ps, brake, windshield washer)
.
I'm not sure if it could be made but maybe the sunvisor brackets (the plastic hinge piece that breaks) everyone will need/ want them

I would maybe make intake manifold flange, exhaust manifold flange and a few different turbo conversion flanges, spacers to use OE manifolds and bigger turbos without grinding. Brackets to interchange different larger than NX OE brake calipers...master cylinder brace, alternator relocation mount...
