Timing chain question...
I'm getting mixed answers here and need a real answer. When it come to timing on the De...from the sprocket guide from intake cam to exhaust cam dot.

How many links is it? 11 or 12? Because I did it with 11 and my car still sputters.

From the intake cam dot to the exhaust cam dot, It should be 20 pins exactly.

thats what i was trying to say!! 20 pins not links gah!

i found a pic of it on roastedpavement.com
hard to see the pins from the flash of the camera so i can't count

sry wayne, i had the 12 o'clock timing mark mixed up with the pins, yes it is 20 pins, not links....

did you call Miko by any chance?

Good post. I'm working on this myself currently.

This is how I counted.

Looking toward the cam sprockets. Starting on the left sprocket(Intake), I start counting to the right of the dot and finish my count to the left of the right sprocket dot. Is this how everybody else has gone about counting?
