Its not something that you just entrust to any shop. Cuz yes, probably 75% of the shops out there are there to just make money and take advantage of their customers. There is very very few trustworthy shops. This is why people are starting to work on things themselves more often.


I agree. It seems 'performance shops' work off the ignorance of their customers. They'll quote you very high and if you complain they don't care, they'll just go to the next person and try to snag them. At least most performance shops do decent work but they'll try to charge you out the ass.

tis the price you pay...and in the same time doing the work yourself..you get self satisfaction,and can better diagnose future problems you may encounter

grab a jack, some tools, pull your motor out and part everything. Use that money to buy a VE and just be happy. You'll have some money left over too.

in terms of work done in jmr's shop last night we...took s block apart replaced bearings...painted tranny/block and threw it back in the car ready to go in a full day...we don't **** around

Car is coming to CT so Jamie Marsh Racing and the boys at SR20DEEP can fix it up right. I am going to be meeting Jason on Tuesday night after I get out of work. We will get this car running right so he can enjoy it!

I work on my own car and I'm 18. Just put a jdm de in my daily and got it running like 2 days ago.

but if i had seen this thread earlier i woulda said buy an srt-4
