I have purchased a regular high port FWD sr20de from this place. I received an sr18de. I cant use this. First thing they said when I called was, "sr18de's dont exist" So I emailed them a picture of the stamp. Now they offered a slight refund, IF I keep the 18.

Would there be any advantage for keeping this? I have a sr20VE crank I can put in it. Light bottom end?

It was an honest mistake, they didn't know, and the sr18 stamp was covered in dirt.... DIRT... That's the kind of quality they ship. Not even cleaned up for me. I guess that's why they are so cheap. Lack of knowledge, poor customer service, poor products... But this may be once in a lifetime thing.

dude, you should have done your research, they have a SKETCHY business - engines out of wrecks, etc. look up tigerjapanese on here or 'cheeeeeeap ve's' - there's a lot of sketch with these guys. money back money back money back.

Its a hit or miss company

I've never had any problems with their motors. although I have heard bad things.

I had a bad experience with them. Never again will I use or recommend them. I say make them pay for the whole thing. They sent you the wrong motor. End of story.

My Avenir SR20DET from them was pretty clean. I had no issues. Motor was in good condition.

Sorry to hear about your situation. How much did they offer in a refund?

to answer your question yes you can use the 20ve/de crank and rods to make it a 2.0.. wouldnt hurt to freshen the bearings anyways... also i hear the sr18 cams are a tad more agressive..

My w10 was from there and it runs like a champ and was beautiful when i got it.

i bought my w10 from them, i went in its very close to me. its so shady, the guy tried to tell me that an engine with crank pully smashed still wrked i laughed at him and picked my own engine. so far so good
