yea my bad timing! i was never changed old.... soo putting it on on monday. thanks everyone. they put a stethascope look alike tool and listened on each side of the motor and it wasnt comming from the bottom.it was comming from the timing chain.
Cool man, yeah i forgot to ask you if you used an old tensioner. That will cause that noise as well.

i too am gld it was something minor, it def didnt sound like a kicking to me, mo so the timing tensioner as why i asked if the the tensioer was old or new or old style or new. def sounded like the tensioner

pretty much, you can get that noise from the top timing chain guide also. alot of ppl go with the newer style tensioner and do away with the top timing chain guise
