Thread: jdm motor and stock ecu

hey can a jdm motor run off a stock ecu or do u have to get a jdm ecu

yep , jdm motor and usdm ecu is fine




you'll have to change the temp sens

You may get a cel for not having egr, but it depends on which motor you get

ihad a jdm motor factory ecu changed the coolant temp sensor and i never had a problem

pretty much how mine has been, I used my usdm IACV<did I get that right,lol and throttle body, changed temp sensor, I show it No mercy,

alright thanks what happens if u dont swap temp sensor

cuz i swapd motors n it wont rev past 2500rpm n i done everything to the maf i try 4 different mafs and rewired where it goes into the ecu and have regrounded it and pulld the negative off the battery over night and still no change
