Distributor problem... plz gimme some ideas.
-So i was running and the 15A fuse for the Coil (ING fuse) blown.

-Changed it for a 15A and ran 5 min than blown.

-Put a 20A in to get back home and did it with no prob.(15 mins on the road)

-Retried with a 15A at home and it's blowing when cranking. But with a 20A it idling for 15 mins, no prob...

So i tested the coils, grounds, transistor like sais in the FSM and everything looked fine.

I dont want to throw away the disty and buy one new(600-700$) just to see...

Any idea would be much appreciated.

DONT use over-rated fuses! I did it once on an amp and smoke started pouring out of it. You fry **** when you use bigger fuses.

i second that if you use a larger fuse you will burn **** up fuzes are made to blow at certain amperage if it sees the amps but the fuze is larger it can really fry some ****

yeah i know i'm not supposed to, but it was only to get back home...

B15 sr20 disty are hard to find at the junkyard...

I've found that the 15A fuse is getting the current to IACV and EGR valve.
So i'll test to ground all of that and test the coil of IACV.
And since my egr is unplugged i'll check it ouf and clean the plug, and plug that crap.

I hope some dirt, oil or else got in the plug and conduct current there.

I'll keep posted.
