You guys are sissys LOL!
To pull the intake mani
1.Open the hood all the way straight up and down.
2.Take the bolts that hold the injector rail out and put the rail off to the side.
3.Unclamp the intake pipe, and the hose that goes to the idle, the brake booster vac line and any other vac lines.
4. Unclip the the TPS and the two wires on the other side of the mani that go to the coolant temp sensor.
5.Remove the two bolts holding the throttle cable on, pull the throttle all the way open and work the little wire free.
6. Take out the 8 bolts/nuts holding the mani to the head and remove the manifold.
7. Fix the hose with silcone tape, or get any 1in or 1.5 in rad hose (depending on which hose you need) that has a straight section that was in Autozone's back room.
8. Put it all back and refill with coolant and bleed the system right
Seriously a smushy cake walk!
These hoses go bad from steam same as why black nylon rad ends go bad which = not bleeding all the air out of the system
