Are you turning the knob, waiting a few seconds, then turning it back? It should flash a code number even if there are no codes stored.

Probably a bad connection at the ecu. Try retightening the 10mm connection screw.

i turned the screw clockwise waited 2 seconds then counterclockwise it didnt flash at all just stayd solid red

MAF sensor. When the ECU doesn't read the MAF it will cause your car to not rev past 2500 RPM's.

i tryd the pulling the negative off the battery over night and it didnt do anything different i pushed the clip going into the maf its in all the way idk do u think the ecu is fryd or theres a break in the wire going back to the ecu from the maf?

Check the maf voltage and ground at the ecu instead of at the maf.
