Quick question before I post pics. The adapters where the fan is supposed to screw into the radiator, it is not tapped. Is this normal for aluminum radiators?

No that's not normal, but I can see why they might have done that?

The plastic end-tank radiator I bought wasn't threaded either. Those screws on the fans are made to seat into the end tank. Kinda like wood screws? I think thin aluminum is pliable enough to fit a screw in there.

doesnt look like a bad radiator you could thread thhe holes no problem but does look pretty thin i had one of those thinner radiators on my car while my koyo was being repaired and it didnt do a very good job not like the koyo but will rpob be fine on your app mineis real close clearence so having the tbhicker rad is a must but thats just me
