hey guys,

just recently d/l the jdm fast files, and followed the instructions on how to set it up and all that, then when i go to open it up, it displays this "active x can't operate" or something like that, warning message so i have to shut it down

anyone encountered this before?

More details are needed?, what is the actual error? Active X?? This is not a web based, (unless your using toyota's, or the VW EPC, which has a web componetn) Are you using Vista? There are issues with vista and some of these programs. in which more steps need to be taken to install/run. Is it when you run? When you extract?

actual error reads this:

"ActiveX component can't create object"

i'm using vista, and this occurs when i run the fast program itself, says "fast is loading, please wait" then that error occurs

It is a Vista, issue.. I will take screenshots of a workarround.. Also, I will make a VPC & VMWare image of a striped OS, that has these configured.

If u are using vista you need to use the latest USDM Disk to install.. It install no problems.

I think he has ripped quite a few people off, so don't count on being able to get ahold of him to fix the site.
