I will be running two Subaru hood vents on my SE-R. One on each side of the hood.

Just take your time cutting the hood and make a template out of cardboard or something first to make sure it fits in properly.

well my goal is to use something that doesn't draw a lot of attention. I do like your idea but I want it for looks with function. If anything I want something less that 1/2 off the hood. What's the height of yours...And pics please Ash. Thanx.

it sits basicly flush with the hood. I made the cut, put it in, trimmed the underside, and used the bottom factory vented piece to hold it to the hood. Worked great although i made the mistake of not using a template and the cut didnt come out too great but nothing too bad unless you go right up on it. It doesnt draw alot of attention at all and it works great.

Ill post up some pics later. Cant get on my photobucket at work.

I have those on my RX car. I got mine from Primitive:

Let me see if I can dig up pics...

If you really want them to work, they should be as forward as possible. There was an article that measured pressure zones, and right on top of the hood/grille was the best spot.

Conventional spots are the worst, according to their measurements..
