Sumping the factory fuel tank ...
I think I am going to sump the factory tank ....this I belive will be better in the performance are then running two pumps one in the tank and one out , and trying to run larger lines from the stock sending unit running 2 external pumps will be a easy task and lines will be simple .....I am only worried when it could come to any kind of state inspections the car may ever have to due ....any ideas or opinions on the subject

It should be easy enough. This is what im going to do when i upgrade fuel system to an A1000 or Weldon pump. The big honda guys do this all the time and it works very well. Again shouldnt be hard at all.

You can also run a walbro in the tank as a lift pump/low pressure pump to a bigger pump. I don't like the chance of one pump going out and leaning the motor way out.

Nobody has ever had problems when sumping the tank and running a good quality pump like the A1000 or Weldons. I see no reason not to do it. A walbro wont keep up for anything over 600whp. A bigger pump is necessary and one good pump is plenty. The chances of it crapping out when your actually on the gas is very unlikely. And the likelyhood of it crapping out period is unlikely.

Go for it man.

I know some honda guys using the Bosch as well with good results. I know the weldon pumps are good for up to and over 100psi of fuel pressure. Not that it would ever see that high. haha

The Walbro GSL392 is been a decent pump ....here is a thread I am reading right now about the 044 and GSL392
Omgili WebToolbar - LS1GTO.com Forums - Bosch 044 vs Walbro GSL 392

Cody ran 2 walbros in his 900+hp NSX ....and they did the job great for that car , just a little food for thought
