Well I checked the signal wire from end to end and it holds current.

Anyway,
It now turns out that the plug on the bottom of the coil has broke off
(this explains why it wasnt starting when I tried to push start it.)
So now i need to get me a new coil. Cheapest Ive found was the local pep boys for $59. Ill see if I can find a local forum member that has a spare layin around.

Call mr. sleeper or gino. If they don't have one, let me know. I think I have an extra one at home somewhere.

Correct-a-mondo.

Glad to hear the starter is spinning again. Good luck with the coil wire.

Guessing it was a bad connection from the power wire to the
battery.
