Thread: Sideview mirror glass replacement

So,I guess we are talking about B14 JDM mirrors
I always wondered about what the view would be like out of them...never had a set

What about the B13 ones? Can you just swap in the glass ou of the USDM and call it a day?

Not sure? We're talking about the B14 power folding mirrors. B13 has a power folding mirror? I didn't know?

Yes you can swap the glass although I am not sure if its possible to swap the motors in the B13 mirror or not but even with USDM glass in the JDM PFM it isn't great like factory as the drivers mirror is actually on the wrong side of the car and the motors adjustability is set up that way.



The B13's have powerfolding mirrors I think its actually more common to find
B13 PFM the B14 ones although I never really look for B14 stuff so IDK.

No, the glass with the black piece around it does not swap. Unless you guys are talking about pulling the glass out of the little trim piece and swapping those. I tried that with no luck. I've since bought a new set of USDM glass and plan on just gluing that to the JDM mirrors.



Swapping the glass turned out to be impossible. Unless I over looked some huge or minor detail that would make it easier.
