I later ordered some Potenza RE-11's for my summer tires from these guys. I was told the tires were in stock.

7 days went by and they informed me that they will deposit my money back in my account and that they don't have the tire after all.. whoops..

I almost didn't have my track tires for the 2010 convention.... grr..

I was lucky to find some local, I had to pay a lot more for them.

I bought a set of kumho ecsta ast's from them. Good deal, awesome place for tires.... Although I wouldnt recommend those tires as I wore them out in 9 months haha. But that was is the turbo car and I do like to take my turns fast of course. But damnnn those tires can grip!

Im looking at the ecsta asx next time... or maybe falkens

I have bought my last four sets of Tires from Tire Rack. I alternate between 195/55-15 and 205/50-15 every other tire purchase. I got new ones last Christmas but they have plenty of meat left on them.

I always consult the site mentioned by OP, just never purchased. Seems like a nice place though, competitive pricing, for sure.

I want to go back to the 205 tire size next time, but I have to stay All-Season unless I find some cheap 13" steelies to rep in the shitty weather months.

Bought a set of BFGoodrich Super Sport 89WBSW for $370 shipped in 205/50/15. Tirerack wanted $430 shipped for the same item. We'll see how it goes.

nver heard of that place but ya they are cheap, i think with ground shipping it would be slightly cheaper to buy them from tire rack and pick them up locally only thing that saved me money, the no shipping from TR. i already bought my wheels and tires have to pick them up monday at noon. i'll definately be checking them out from now on. thanks for the info guys

I used tires online @ tires-easy.com: tire dealer for cheap passenger, summer, winter tires for my last tire purchase. (I needed some new rubber for my Veedub)

Got a set of Fuzion HRi's to my door for like 215 shipped. Granted, they were 14's, but they were the cheapest I could find for what I wanted.

I can't use tire rack because they have a warehouse in Louisiana, so sales tax applies.

It's economy of scale, not supply and demand.
