Energy Suspension Tie-Rod Boot install

Just a question for the guys who have done this job. The boots go over old boots or do I cut out old boots and put the ES pieces as replacements.

Well I went ahead and put them in. I left the original boots in place. One is still good the other was blown. If anybody has done otherwise please chime in with you reason for doing so.
