Vadim, I'd help you out with info if I had any. I put in the light flywheel while N/A but didn't get any new fuel economy figures. And I don't have any new figures now that I've put the turbo on. I will someday. =/
My data is also all wonky because of the stand-alones. =(

I have consistently had 38-40mpg highway, confirmed three times now on my trips from Maine to North Carolina (1000miles).

I did not notice a difference at all in highway mileage when I put on my flywheel. I had made one trip to North Carolina then put on the my flywheel with an asp header and made the trip back home then once again to NC.

I had disabled my o2 feedback and tuned the car to be running at 14.5-15.0 on the highway.

For comparison I have not had a chance to tune my city driving before my innovate wideband crapped itself, and I get 20-25mpg city. (usually 20).

Vadim if your alignment and wheel bearings did nothing to your mpg do you really think the flywheel will?

Best of luck my friend.

I sit pretty steady between 15.4~15.6 cruising on the highway. That's when I was getting 40+mpg.

If you're not worried about emissions, then you need to get a B13RTv2 ASAP! MAP and IAT are currently being worked out.

Interesting, well see . I don't want to pay $400 all over again

Maybe your problem is your tune, honestly before I had my car dyno tuned I got like 15mpg no matter how I drove.

Cruising is 14.7 - 15.1 Which is the default close loop numbers. I cannot get anything about 15.1 because the ECU is stubborn (self learns).

Ha well I have both, flywheel and pulleys, so what does that tell me? hehe.

That sounds about right, most of the places I've seen say that, that range is a good mix between having enough fuel to keep the car running efficiently and while not using too much fuel.

No worries, you helped me much in other areas already anyway

Thank you Dudeman, that was more of what I was looking for. I doubt the flywheel added anything to mine, but wanted to see someone else talk from experience.

I'm basically trying to find a bigger problem, that is causing any gains from all the mods to stay down. It might be the 99 Evap system, it might be crapping out or being dirty.

Another thing I should mention, I've been monitoring the Scan Gauge religiously and monitoring what eats more gas etc.

Starting the car from dead stop...
...slowly will render me 1-3 MPG.
...flooring it will render me 5-6 MPG.

Picking up Speed from say 2nd gear...
...slowly will usually get me 12MPG but takes longer to get up to speed.
...quickly (not flooring) will usually get me 10 MPG but will get up to speed quicker.

Flooring the car on the highway will drop it down to 10 MPG, which is still better then starting from a dead stop.

My bad I just checked my data log for my wide band and my cruising is max 16.2 and usually about 15.6-8. Runs fine for me. I guess my tuner knows what he is doing considering I make 230whp and 255tq and most people making that hp usually have ~220tq or less from what I have seen. Honestly, if you are so worried about gas mileage get a hybrid. I bought a g20t for a dd to get good gas mileage and I find my self mashing the throttle to the floor all the time and wasting more gas because it isn't fast enough.

Once again I must mention that, I know this is not a hybrid. If I wanted great gas mileage I would get a diesel, not a hybrid.

There is something wrong with my car, I'm diagnosing it. It happens that the result of the problem is gas mileage, maybe even WHP?

When someone wants more WHP on here, do we tell them to get a 350z? No we tell them hey you have 3 options, Bolt On's, VE, or Turbo.

Maybe your engine is just a lemon for gas mileage. Hows it look under the VC any sludge? Do you have any vaccum leaks, exhaust leaks, checked o2 sensor? A Bad o2 sensor will totally affect gas mileage. You may even have a bad o ring or something on an injector causing it to leak a bit but then that would cause you to run rich. However you would see that on the wide band. hmm

Thank you sir for throwing suggestions, really appreciated .

It's 8.5CR, that could be the start. No sludge this guy is clean . Did a boost leak test just yesterday, it seemed to have normal/healthy PSI decrease. I've been through soo many O2 sensors that I don't believe I've put 5k on any one. This one was replaced about 8 months ago.

Injector O-rings are fine, I did a leak test before installing. How ever I do have and idea, it might be involving my tune and how Injectors are handled.

What are your shifting points? Do you downshift often to get into a more torquey area of your powerband?
