Oil filter options?
On the sr20 I only know of the (fram sizes) 6607 and 7317, are there any bigger oil filters that would fit?

You should open up an OEM filter and compare it to a Puralator.

You will see that OEM is NOT better.

Never, ever buy Fram. Unless you think oil drain-back isn't a big deal.

I once had a off the shelf oil filter pop off on me (don't remember the brand). So since then I refuse to use anything other than OEM.

I've used all sorts of different filters. I will never EVER use Fram filters. And they are considered the "higher grade" filter at my work. Rediculous. So i sell them to people if they want them, but i refuse to use them.

I use purolator purone filters.

I once had an OEM filter not filter my oil as well as other aftermarket alternatives. So since then I have only been using aftermarket filters.

Well which of the filters are the biggest you could fit? See, I have an aftermarket oil cooler and the small filters for the sr20 have too small of a diameter so it leaves a gap around the filter housing. The thread pitch and size are the same but I need something with a bigger filter housing.

What year is your motor? 95+ USDM motors have a metric fitment and the smaller size filter.
