Warning!! This Flywhl may leave U stranded
So I needed a light weight flywheel and my boy was parting out his turbo project, so I grabbed this 8# flywheel that he purchased from this former vendor 3 letter villain. Needless to say I knew better but hey what could go wrong with a flywheel right! WRONG Stupid thing left me stranded last week after only 2 months of use, starter just stopped starting the car and started free spinning, pics will explain

Here's where the starter contacts the teeth on the flywheel to start the car

wow, ive been using my jgy 8.5 lb flywheel without a hiccup for 5 years. i believe they are cromoly not aluminum so this seems like it would be a rare occurance

Yeah installed a 9 or 10# comp clutch flywheel today

Didnt you buy one of those high hp starters from jgy too? maybe thats what did it??
