Melted Fan Switch..
So my 92' se-r had a melted fan switch and connector due to im assuming a short with the blower motor resistor. So i went to pull the fan switch from my 94' parts car and turns out...that one is melted also, along with the connector. Two, sentras in a row with the same problem, now i have to be cold till i can find a new pigtail for my fan switch, is this a common problem with these cars?

In my sentra the fans stopped kicking on all together via the ecu. I guess the temp sensor went bad for them or something but I have never had a connector melt on me. I just rewired them onto their own circuit with a switch and relay so I can turn the fans on and off at my own will. If the fan motor didn't fry you should be able to salvage the fans.

Im talking about the A/C blower control switch. I should've been more specific, haha.
