Ohh I see, your best bet is to take a string and run it around, then measure how long it is. Go to Napa for unique belts, Autozone and Advance Auto will usually be confused.

Most name brand belts are easy to decifer for example I just looked up a belt for a 92 SE-R

AC/Alternator P/N 25060408

Lets decifer the part number:
250-Not sure what it means not really important
6-Denotes that it is a belt with 6 ribs
0-Ignore it really just a place holder
408-This denotes the belts total length in MM's .

So look on the pulley to see how many ribs the belt has then cut a string and measure how long it is. Then when the parts jockey looks at you crazy just ask to see the belts and pick out the one you need.

250 is 25 inches

etc etc

I work at the busiest Midas in the Northeast maybe we do things backwards of other shops but we are doing something right at about 2 Million in sales per year. I just went to work and all our belts say 250 as a prefix. These are bought directly from Napa and put on my shelf. I did look at my electronic catalouge and Napa has 2 lines in belts. I only use the more expensive ones not Napa's value line. I doubt that every belt is the same lenght in fact I verified that they aren't. Most people I know including shops order belts by application or if that doesn't work by lenght in MM's.

So if you want a Napa belt that isn't a value line please measure it in MM's.
