intercharger on sr20?
Have anyone thought of installing an intercharger on their sr20? I've seen some installs on minivans and diesel engines somehow it changes the blow by gasses into burnable gasses, from what I've read it reduces exhaust smell, vibrations, and also keeps the oil cleaner for longer, it also reduces emissions and helps the engine run cooler all while using less fuel. I've been thinking of installing the devices on the 4 cars that I take care of one is a ga16 200sx and the other is a sr20 200sx I drive over 60,000 miles a year between the two cars. The main distributer lives in port st lucie, FL, I work right up the road from him. The device is right around $100 but I think they want to install it which is extra, it is basicly nothing to install just cutting the blow by hose going into the intake and hose clamping the device on. The website is www.intercharger.com

$100 for a canister? I think I will spend that money else where. $30 yes worth the risk. What's the difference between what comes factory installed on our vehicles.

Yes it's called a PCV valve, it's stock on all cars since the 50's.

It's also called the valve cover breather and connects to your intake.

Let me show some pictures to make this simple.

Couldn't agree with you more, $30 ok to waste money on, $100 your just wasting money.

Believe or not that's a tshirt with a picture of Bass on it. Though here it does look like the real thing.

So basicly its a pcv valve? So I would be able to go to an auto parts store and buy another pcv valve and install it inline so there would be 2 of them on the car and it would have the same effect? Is that what your saying vladmin?
