Haha nate, funny you mention that and post a huge picture because that was the first thing I thought of.

The other guy probably thinks that F1 is stupid for having big wings on there cars going faster than ****.

Oops. Nice catch.

I dyslexi-fied (made that one up) those two words in that specific statement. My bad. I think I was pretty clear in the rest of my posts.

I'll go edit the original post.

Anyway, Mike, the cars look great on your site! I enjoy following you on Facebook as well. I am your friend and fan of MotoIQ and I appreciate accepting the request. All the great work you have done have helped my Dad and I become closer by us working on the car and for basic knowledge, we used your articles in SCC (when it wasn't worthless! It's garbage now that they cut you!!) and se-r.net.

The car looks great, the wing looks nice also, I love it all. Cheers!

(I rarely use those smileys but here is one for ya)

Welcome back, glad I could make you feel right at home.

Seriously, I still want to know what a drift wing is.

^ Amazingly they actually call them that...

APEXi Drift Wing - SpeedCraZe.com - Automotive Performance Consultants

Damn....they even sell packages:

I think I just puked a bit in my mouth. What a mockery.

Ah so it is really just any kind of wing they call randomly a drift wing.

Maybe it's like the "sway bar". They drop the "anti-" from the name to keep it short.
So in reality it's an anti-drift wing. Probably designed to keep you in your lane on the highway.
I think I'm on to something here.

In pro drifting we use rear wings because the cars are getting so fast, they need them, heps prevent the car from over rotating and gives more speed in the drift. They lose effectivness when sideways though.

We were running big endplates but they got banned.

Love the dog car. Can't believe your getting ripped on for a big ricer wing. Its functional .
