Again do it right the first time and take your time and you wouldnt have all these problems. I know its learning and hopefully you get it figured out.

I did grind the hole where the lever goes down, but it seems to go in nicely....

As for the arm I just bent the air tube down.

This is why I wish i just got another sr16 tranny.....

I will make this work!! I hope:o

just loosen the crossmember and try that.

the sr16 is the same exact thing as the b15 besides the gearing and the clutch arm.

do you have to modify the shifter linkage on the sr16?

thanks again and anymore input is greatly appricated.

sorry i came in my pants...

WEPA LOOK AT THE THROW OUT BEARING CLIPS... !!! SWITCH THEM AROUND AN SEE WHICH SIDE GETS GETTING STUCK.

GET NEW THROW OUT BEARING CLIPS.. INSPECT THEM VERY CAREFULLY UNDER HEAVY LIGHT JUST IN CASE YOUR BLIND.. IT HAS HAPPEND TO ME BEFORE.. I tested it out before cause i noticed the gettin stuck and that was the problem the clips looked fine but when i looked close there was a chunk missing out of one of them.

The tranny and motor are lined up perfectly, but its tilted so I plan to loosen the c member and lined it up.

Next i just have to work on this TOB issue. The bearing seems to get stuck on the shaft and won't move back and forth nicely..

you usualy can make the tob go farther than its supposed to on the b15 tranny and it will get stuck if your using the lever by hand. when its installed the lever doesnt move as much so it wont get stuck on the end of the input shaft.

hey Jon ,,, when we put the B15 in my egg there was a few alignment problems as well (tilt problems)and the way I was able to get it lined up correctly was I jacked up the rear of the motor because it was a little bit tilted, you can see it close up as you raise the rear(only) of the motor only had to go { } this much ., LMAO, you may have to pry the mount a little bit as you start the bolts but it should line right up... I never touched my cross member...

and whatever you do Don't give up on the bolts,, MAKE sure you get them All in ,, they suck trying to get lined up but after you get 2 its a breeze

it was hard to see all this underneath the car,, lol .. glad I had a second pair of eyes to see what was going on,, oh and the extra hands to help turn wrenches was good

and as long as you have the TOB in correctly it should work,, mine seemed to get stuck when moving it by hand..... just greased up the shaft (lol) and it works great,,

also if you may have to modify the shift rod area for shift clearance,, I had to, got pics...

hope this helps
