Ignition coil sparks coooL
I just noticed at night that my ignition coil is shooting off some crazy lighting bolts. Is this a real serious problem where I should not drive the car or can I get by for now because I have to get to work for the rest of the week. I did notice some of the paint chipped off the coil if I repaint it would it stop the sparking?

They're not painted, they are rubber coated I believe.

yeah easy way to check your wires is to park your car in a really dark spot and spray water on your wires then start the car. if you see a lightning show then your wires are bad
