headgasket fix
once my headgasket comes in i will attempt to put it in, any tips on changing it. getting the chain loose anything. never did a chain before belt was alot easyer

take the cam bolts out
take the bolts out of the gears, tap the gears off the cams
take out the head bolts
then take off the tensioner
walla

hard part is getting it back on, just takes time to move the chain around lol

Are the head bolts reuseable? I hear that if the threads are tapered then they are too stretched.

Also an FSM would help too with TQ specs and sequences n all that good stuff.

Always use new head bolts. Not worth running the risk of blowing the gasket again just because you didn't replace them.

if i was to get bolts are usdm bolts same at the u13 bolts?

x2. big reason for this as well as the new bolts is warpage. Best to start the slate clean.
