Clutch Pedal Q
Hey guys im doing an auto to manual swap and while doing the clutch pedal i messed up the upper bolt.

Im wondering if it would be safe to just run the bottom bolt and the 12mm bolt at the way top.

What do you mean by you messed it up? Stripped, broken, crossthread?

Stripped or x-thread i would try to retap it to be safe. Probably really hard to get to though

tough call because there's tension on that bolt all the time because that's close to where the spring is located so every time you supress the pedal, there's a backwards force on the pedal plate. do that 100x/day and that's a recipie for disaster. - I say fix it if you can. if it's xthreaded, retap, easy. if it broke off in the thing, take of the pedal and weld a nut, crank it out, replace it.

you need it. Can't remember where I seen it but without that bolt the bracket would move slightly. It was just enough so that the person couldn't adjust the clutch properly. I say fix it.
