Except for the bearings.

I dont use mechanical water pumps anymore. But when my 1st B14 needed it replaced I bought an Autozone one and it failed a year and a half later.

Got a nissan one and it lasted until some old lady slammed into my car totalling it. =(

I say get the cheap one NOW since money is tight. But replace it with an OEM one later down the road when things pick up for you guys.

Always buy the lifetime option from Autozone. The 1 years or cheaper option are cheaper metal and most of the time are rebuilt.

who cares every part is not always as good as others. i have had OEM s hit break faster then my autozone stuff. i mean we can sit here and talk about it all day sometimes you get bad parts sometimes you get good parts

Thanks for the advice everyone. While I wanted to get a Nissan one for him, we went with the autozone Water Pump and then used the spare cash to help him get rotors and pads all around from rockauto and re-built rear calipers from Murray's (guess they were having a special).

Hopefully he will have it running once everything is replaced. Got everything prepped this weekend and we are just waiting for the rest of the parts to come in now. Soon another SE-R will be on the road thanks to you guys (even if it is beat to hell).

Thank you so much again the advice. I know I was really overthinking this one.
