I have seen countless cars over here with hood spacers so I decided to do it to my n14. It doesn't look too bad and if I'm driving along at low speed and stick my hand out the window and in front of the windscreen I can feel warm air so it must be doing something lol.

i have an exhaust manifold spacer under the back bolt.

helps out a lot with cooling

when i go to the drag strip i just take my hood off, cant argue with that cooling affect.

You realise that the base of the windscreen is a high pressure area, by lifting it all you achieve is to push the hot air back into the engine bay.
This is why Tranzam and Nascar use the base of the screen for their air intake.

Good idea but a fail in reality.

If you are going to vent it needs to be further forward to work. This is my bonnet.
