The Pullies are not interchangable as MR-4Door-SR20DET. This is only a pully problem not a working problem

^This is correct. The alternators will work fine, this is just a pulley problem.

^Yes. I have a machine that will do the trick . The other side of that machine got my alternator all shiney.

MR-4Door-SR20DET

Gen1 = B14 (80 amp)
Gen2 = B15 (100 amp)

Right?

If the above is right then Gen1.5 = 1999 P11 (90 amp) also had the same rubbing / locking problem as Gen2.

Bump for MR-4Door-SR20DET.

Marcus, I have been reading the the "newer" UR Alt pulley will work on a B15 alt without any modification. Is this true?

^Apparently the B15 works fine according to two other people in this thread. If it rubs, all you have to do is grind down the lip on the alternator and the UR pulley will not rub. That's what I did as I purchased two Gen2 alternators from Miko. I'm guessing they are from a P11.

Awesome guys. Little did I know that the B15 alt works with the UR Alt pulley.

Btw my UR Alt pulley is the newer / older style with hole drilled into the face of the pulley.
