Looking into getting new tires
This is for my 99 Sentra which is my DD. Washington is known for it's rain, especially now since it's raining but still summer. I have a separate set of snow tires so these will just be for summer use, with some rain seasons.

Federal SS-595

Maxxis MA-V1

MA-V1

Falken Zexius X-427
(can't seem to find any pics/information except forums posts about these)

Toyo Proxes 4

I was thinking of going with the Toyo Proxes 4, but would like some input as well. I didn't put prices up since money isn't an issue when it comes to tires.

Car and Driver just had a great article on high performance summer tires taking both wet and dry traction into account. The 1st and 2nd place tires did extremely well in the wet. I'll see if I can look up that article.

If you're looking for an even more aggressive tire that should also be just as good in the wet (same tread pattern I believe as the 2nd place finisher) look into the new Hankook Ventus RS-3 tire. It comes in 15" friendly sizes.

Proxes 4's handle great for N/A applications. I was very happy with them until I went boost. Their compound is too hard for boosted applications, and they don't hold well on concrete. Asphalt is a different story.
