yea, after having my setup without any idle control other than cracking the throttle slightly it got really annoying.
over the winter I ended up putting the cold idle valve back on, but I still don't have the IACV on the end of the intake.
once I finally get around to tuning my car, I may play around with the idea of a different IACV, unless I can keep the throttle cracked and get it set pretty good.
it seems like when my car has been at normal operating temp for a little while, the idle goes a little higher than I'd like and starts slightly surging.
